He was right! Not about Walmart, but about the Christmas display. It was awesome! When he saw how I reacted (I got a real kick out of it) he sheepishly admitted that he kinda liked it too.
And who wouldn’t? It’s so much fun to see people really getting into decorating and celebrating.
So, in keeping with the fun of the whole thing, Southbrook Church has decided to
egg them on, oops, I mean, encourage them in their festive pursuits. So here’s the deal…
Your Neighborhood, St. John’s Forest, has been chosen as “The Neighborhood with the most Holiday Spirit” by Southbrook Community Church (your neighbor down the street).
Guess What That Means?!
We’ve taken photos of many of the light displays and placed them on this blog (www.robsingleton.net). We’ll be choosing 3 winners and all you have to do to find out if you’ve won is attend one of our 5 Christmas Eve services. We’ll have the winners posted during all the services at the Information Table in the front lobby. If you win – just come and collect your prize!
If your house is not on this blog then send a picture to email@example.com and we’ll make sure it is included.

And, once again, here are ALL the options (including the midnight candlelight service at Southbrook Central and the services at Monroe)
Tuesday evening, December 23rd at 6:30 and again at 8:30 in the main.
Wednesday evening, December 24th at 3:30, 5:30, and 7:30. There will also be a scaled down midnight service beginning at 11:00 pm (please note that this service does not include the drama. The drama is limited to the 5 above mentioned services and the central campus only.).
There will also be 2 services on December 24th in the brand new facility at our Monroe Campus. These will be at 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm (these services are candlelight services and do not include the drama). I hope this helps, and remember, though you won’t be turned away without a ticket, the first seats go to those who have tickets for that particular hour.
Pictures so far…
