A Great Day!


A couple weeks ago at Easter a little over 100 people gave their lives to Christ!

Today nearly that many professed Him in baptism!


It’s long been a pet peeve of mine that the numbers of those who come to Christ through salvation should be the same as those who tell the world they love Him through baptism. Today that came true. The few that make up the difference do not live in North Carolina, but rather, visited friends and family for Easter and then returned home.

On the day the church was born (not Southbrook, but the very first church) there were 3,000 who bent the knee to Jesus Christ. Guess how many followed that up with baptism?


Most who made professions at Easter stood up publicly for Jesus today!
