Wow!
You’ve heard me say that a picture is worth a thousand words? Well, not in this case. I will show you some pictures from Southbrook Weddington’s VBS, but it will still fall woefully short of “being there.”
Solution?
Be there!
Parents, grab every other parent in the neighborhood and make sure they have their kids there for Tuesday! Even though it’s has already begun this thing is designed so that the kids can jump in at anytime and not feel lost.
To all the staff and volunteers making this possible…THANKS! You all are doing a bang up job!
Oh, and you’re the champions of the week.
Southbrook parents? You need to offer to take a van load yourself. What a great way to reach out to those neighbors and let them know about Southbrook.
Alright everyone, you have your marching orders. Now let’s blow this thing out for Jesus!
Oh, and here are some more pictures—even though…
Well, you know.

Hey Rob,
Just wanted to give a shout out for the awesome teenagers at Southbrook who are giving their time this week, too! We have some amazing kids who love to serve the Lord!
Hello Rob,
Thanks for sharing about the Weddington VBS, please don’t forget that we had MANY MANY CHAMPIONS @ the Monroe VBS. I am sending out a recognition to all of the volunteers who are dedicated to the children of Monroe and did a fantastic job !!! We would not have been able to pull it off without each and every volunteer @ the Monroe VBS. Thanks again to everyone.
Hey Denise!
Good point!
I actually blogged about the whole gang out in Monroe last week. Don’t worry, I would never forget the great folks at our Monroe Campus. You all rock!!!!
Hey Heidi!
I did notice all the teens helping. They were amazing! And that’s a real telling sign of a healthy, thriving church when the youth are as involved as the adults (maybe even more so!)!
