As many of you know by now, Southbrook Church will be the Charlotte, NC regional host for this year’s “Maximum Impact” conference! I hope many of you
will plan on joining us for this awesome one day event. But this post is primarily to pastors…
If you are planning on being a part of this leadership summit, I would also like to invite you to a special (lunch) breakout session with me and some of the other pastors here at Southbrook Church. This will be a time to ask questions and hear from each other about not only what God has done at our church, but how we can work together and all see God do tremendous things in our midsts for the building up of His kingdom.
We don’t have all the answers—in fact, we don’t have most of the answers, but we do have a whole host of things we’ve learned the “hard way.” I myself have learned most things via God’s heavenly 2×4 right between the eyes! But it doesn’t have to be that way for you! I’d like to do whatever I can to save you the pain of the wooden crossbeam at 110 mph to the face.
So, once again, contact Adriane Hirsch at ahirsch75@gmail.com for more info on this day of mentoring from some real spiritual giants (and one midget…me).
You won’t regret it!!!!
The event is Friday, May 8th. Registration is from 8:00 am -9:00am and the event is an all day deal from 9:00 – 4:00.

Get Ready For…
Maximum Impact!!

Southbrook Church is proud to be this region’s host for what is sure to be the one leadership conference you can not afford to miss!! Just take a look at that lineup!! Or click the following link to learn more about the fabulous speakers on tap for this event.
Maximum Impact
Honestly, if it were John Maxwell alone it would be worth the price of admission but not only will he be a part of it, but also nine other very influential leaders from around the world will join us as well. Don’t miss this!
So, to add some incentive, I would like to encourage every ministry leader/volunteer at Southbrook to come be a part of this and I’ll pay for your ticket if you bring the most people with you. Just contact Adriane Hirsch at ahirsch75@gmail.com
The event is Friday, May 8th. Registration is from 8:00 am -9:00am and the event is an all day deal from 9:00 – 4:00. In addition to this, we will have a special FAQ/lunchtime break out session for all the pastors in attendance with myself and a few others from the leadership team at Southbrook Church. I have a special heart for pastors, so I hope a ton of you will plan on being there!
Till then!!

Part of what I do I really love.
Part of what I do I really hate.
Let me explain.
- I love teaching on stewardship. — I hate sounding like the church is begging for money.
- I love helping people with their hurts. — But I hate it when wolves creep into God’s church and cause those hurts.
- I love to teach for transformation. — I hate to just spew out Bible trivia.
- I love to comfort the grieving. — I hate to see people hurting.
- I love to see our church growing. — But I hate to see people simply act as seat warmers week after week.
- I love to be a part of discipleship for thousands. — I hate to see people equate head knowledge with maturity.
I could go on and on. Point is, much of what I do is love/hate.
Today was a bit of both.
Today we filmed our “One Prayer” video for use in the June “One Prayer” campaign.
I love being a part of that. No hate counterpart there. I love it. Period.
But my message was one I both loved and hated.
On the one hand, I love to talk about the holiness of the LORD.
On the other hand, I hate that so many Christians today have so little reverence for God.
That’s all.
Nothing real deep there. Just a Sunday evening mind dump.
See you tomorrow.
