Unfortunately, we didn’t win the 91.9 contest. It was close—51% to 49%. We started slow (about 20 percentage points down) and were closing fast, but, as we said, it was over at 20,000 votes.
Oh well, it was fun and it means a lot to know how much our praise and worship team is loved at Southbrook Church. They do a great job of leading us to the thrown of God!
Let them know you appreciate them this week if you get the chance!
See you this weekend!

Dan, the team of worship leaders you put together each and every week are top notch. They bring it in the name of Jesus. Thanks for all your hardwork and thiers. I did some math and it appears we only lost by approx 700 votes out of nearly 40,000 votes. I hope it inspires you to write a new song for the next contest. Keep sending in your awesome songs and we will keep voting brother.
WE DO SO LOVE OUR WORSHIP TEAM!!!!
In fact I thought that this really is not a loss, it is a win. Since the new building is getting ready to open the worship team can focus all of it’s collective creative energy and talent on reaching the hundreds, if not thousands of new folks that are going to attend a service (or two..or three..or four… ; ) at Southbrook in the coming months. I am sure that you guys will rock His house like you always do.
MY CHURCH BAND ROCKS!!!!
I’d like to see 91.9 consider letting Return open up for the Central Church of God band since it was so close. Anyone want to start an email campaign to the station?
Well, in my mind our band was the best !! Congratulations on making it as far as you did !!!! I pray that your songs will still be played on the radio all the time some day !!!! God has blessed all of the Southbrook bands with much talent !! We can keep you all to ourselves in Worship !! God bless you all !!
