Hi Rob,

Wow, what an amazing week of VBS! Mark,Cindy, Crystal and many others I do not know did an absolutely fantastic job with the kids. I couldn't agree more with the other posts. Everything from the set to the music to the excitement of each volunteer made this past week the best VBS ever. My four year old came home every night recounting the lessons, characters and fun that she had. What a blessing! I know some good friends sent their children as well one of whom was skeptical at first, but by Wed night, wanted it to continue all summer long(he wrote that in his journal). Thank you to all of those faithful volunteers who sacrificed their time to bring the Good News to our children in such a "powerful" way!

Rob, I know that in the past you have shared with us your son's passion for Christ so I wanted to do the same for one of my sons. Carl has been so pumped up during VBS. In fact he has shared, and showed, his heart and his willingness to be broken with everyone, I mean everyone. He said that one dance/song they are performing in particular is "the most beautiful thing he has ever seen". (Chris Rice - Come To Jesus) It makes me so happy to be blessed with children that know Him and want to make Him known. (to borrow from a 91.9 slogan ; ) I often catch myself wanting to be more like my son in his willingness to openly share Christ's love for us with others. Hmm, dangerous thought?

God has given us an awesome responsibility. We have infinite wealth in the children we have been so fortunate to be asked to raise in Him. Thank you Father!

HUGE thanks you to ALL the volunteers and staff for your sacrifice and leadership during VBS and throughout the year. Southbrook rocks!
