Thanksgiving “Turkey Trot!”

My wife’s threatening to make this a ‘tradition.’

I told her I’m not much of a traditional guy. “Pipe down,” she said. “Traditions can be good.”

Thus the “Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Trot” was born.

What is it?

Sort of a cross between a 5k walk for a worthy cause (us, and working up a healthy Thanksgiving appetite) and a scavenger hunt. It was actually pretty fun, but I’m hoping none of my five readers will tell her I said so .

Michelle had 10 orange bags each containing a strip of paper requiring the group to do something silly and get digital, photographic evidence of it!

We had a blast.

Here’s some of the evidence.

Enjoy.

I have to say Rob it does look a lot more fun than sitting around a table just staring at one another and saying little except “so how’s the weather where you live now” and watching a football game that can be recorded or watched at anytime.
