My wife’s threatening to make this a ‘tradition.’
I told her I’m not much of a traditional guy. “Pipe down,†she said. “Traditions can be good.â€
Thus the “Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Trot†was born.
What is it?
Sort of a cross between a 5k walk for a worthy cause (us, and working up a healthy Thanksgiving appetite) and a scavenger hunt. It was actually pretty fun, but I’m hoping none of my five readers will tell her I said so
.
Michelle had 10 orange bags each containing a strip of paper requiring the group to do something silly and get digital, photographic evidence of it!
We had a blast.
Here’s some of the evidence.
Enjoy.

I have to say Rob…sorry…but it looks like it was lots of fun! Keep on with the tradition!
I have to say Rob it does look a lot more fun than sitting around a table just staring at one another and saying little except “so how’s the weather where you live now” and watching a football game that can be recorded or watched at anytime.
Hey Amy,
I’ll give you that! When you put it that way, I’ll take the Turkey Trot any day!!
Pastor Rob
