We’ll announce the digits this coming weekend, but I couldn’t wait that long to celebrate!

What an awesome day we had under the tent!

One church gathered for, one service under one vision to give one sacrifice!

And it happened. The finals aren’t in yet peeps, but you all will be the first to know! Anyway, that’s not the number I’m most excited about…THIS IS…

30 more people were added to God’s family today! I can think of no monetary gift to match that! Ultimately, this is why we exist as a church! Give God the glory and keep lifting Southbrook up in prayer as we see God transform this area through His people at SCC!

If you were there today, you saw God move and it’s something we’re used to at SCC. We expect God to move in great and mighty ways each and every time we gather in His name!

And He never disappoints!

Here are a few pictures for you to enjoy!

Go God!

Stay tuned for a new blog series about the many wacko rumors that often plague churches. I’m calling it, “Southbrook Urban Legends.” You won’t want to miss it…

Or perhaps you already heard a rumor that it was coming.

Hi Rob, I posted a week or two regarding strugglin in decding how much to give to the Church…..my husband and I sat down with the budget and came up with an amount that by no means will rock Southbrook World but I hope t will be something that will help in our Commitment to God

It was a awesome service today. Just hearing that Worship band made me glad I call Southbrook home. Thank to all who made today happen! Good work!

Today’s message hit a home run and the best part was it moved everyone, at least the important ones. Yes, 30 more people gave their lives to Christ. WOW! For a message that was originally targeted toward giving of back HIS money to further the kingdom, WOW! Wonder what a salvation service would do?

Anyways, the other important one was me and my wife. I had our number. God had His. Thankfully, he won! I am sure that there were more people who came in with that mindset and walked out moved by the Holy Spirit to release their grip on God’s money. Awesome if it did indeed happen for more folks than just my family. Either way, 30 more souls wrestled away from Satan’s grasp and back into God’s loving arms and one family walking in freedom and victory today.

    Rob,

Today was an AWESOME service! Praise God for those who gave their lives to Christ and we are so thankful for you Rob, and the leadership here at Southbrook. We are so blessed to have found Southbrook. We thank God everyday for leading us here and can’t wait to share in the vision he has for this church.

    Blessings,
    Sue

It was a great service. And I loved smelling the damp grass and the chill in the air- felt so close to nature! I have to admit, when you had those who gave their lives to Christ today raise their hands, I really wanted to peek!! I didn’t though (one temptation averted!). But that really was the best part of the morning. And I think that moment emphasizes the most what God is doing at Southbrook and why He is asking us to build a physical building- so HE can continue to build His Body!

Anaother great day by our awesome God…we are truly are living in movement of his spirit across this part of the country. Today was awesome…alot of hard work, but awesome!!

Welcome to the family those of you that made a decision to be a Christ-follower today! We all love you and are praying for you.

Was hoping to see the number before I went to bed tonight…have spending time praying for this thing to be HUGE or as you would say GINORMOUS!! God is faithful and I am sure he will provide through his people.

As a worship team member you can really get a different feel for worship throughout the congregation. (Not just visually, but spiritually.) Yesterdays service was evidence of “true corporate worship”. With the whole church under one roof, it was obvious that His Spirit was moving and people were not leaving without getting what they came for!! (Answered prayer, salvation, His presence. . .) But It was also obvious that in all the getting, there was lots of giving back to God. (Not just monetary, but true worship to HIM!)
    Ignition!

  9. Michelle Singleton says:

Sunday’s service was “Explosive” ……. Total Ignition of a Huge Faith Capacity for furthering the Kingdom of Jesus Christ! Thank you for challenging all of us to increase our Faith Capacity! I was so moved by the number of people pouring forward with their sacrifices, brought to tears by the compassionate video showing Southbrook’s loving hands taking the Gospel around the world, and completely overwhelmed with joy over 30 new Brothers and Sisters in our local church Family! Our God is Big and Amazing! He never fails!

One more thing……….any chance of posting that video on your blog………….it is too awesome to see it just one time!

  11. Kati says:

Yesterdays service was really just awesome. To sum it up in one word.
I think it really carried over into the youth service as well. Where the worship was incredible.
Pretty cool how some parents got to experience it as well.

Can’t wait for that new blog series!!
I can tell its gonna be good =]

  12. Dee Langley says:

YEAH I would love to see the video! For those of us who were working the children’s ministry and didn’t get to hear your awesome sermon!!
The children had an awesome service too! It is time to kick the adults out of that building and let the kids take over!!
    WOO HOO Little Brook!

The video was so touching I was just wondering if anyone else felt so overly blessed to the point of embarressment. I was wondering if as a church we could hold a huge rummage sale to get rid of our excess and send the money overseas to the people who really need it. Sure donating to Goodwill is fine, but that video made me realize their are others who could benefit even more from us selling our excess possessions and helping organizations like Invisible Children.(If you dont know about them you should rent the video)
